We offer a variety of fun-filled annual events at MCDS that bring our school community together, create lasting memories, and celebrate the spirit of our students, families, and staff!
Dr Maria Montessori Day
Dr. Maria Montessori Day celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Maria Montessori and her vision for education. Students learn about her work and the Montessori philosophy while honoring the principles that guide our MCDS community.
Grandparents Day
A morning dedicated to celebrating Grandparents at the school where students spend quality time with thier grandparent(s) through interactive activities and refreshments.
MCDS Fall Festival
A fun filled Fall celebration with seasonal activities, games, face painting, and community fun for all ages. Students may come in costume and family and friends may join us
Donuts & Demos for Dad
A special day celebrating dads and father figures! Join us for donuts, fun demonstrations, and quality time together.
Spring Planting Day
Spring Planting Day is a hands-on event that celebrates the season of growth and renewal. Students and families come together to plant flowers, vegetables, and other greenery.
World Peace Day
World Peace Day is a meaningful MCDS tradition that celebrates kindness, compassion, and respect. Students come together to learn about peace and ways to create a more caring and peaceful community.
Mother's Day Tea
Mother’s Day Tea is a special MCDS tradition celebrating the moms and mother figures in our school community. The event features tea, sweet treats, and meaningful time spent together.
End of Year Picnic
A joyful celebration that brings the MCDS community together at the close of the school year. Families enjoy food, games, and time together while celebrating the year’s accomplishments and memories
